There is power in unity. There is real power that comes from the unified commitment, effort and spirit of riders, supporters and survivors that is bigger than cancer.

We ride with pride and in honor of those on the front lines in the battle with cancer. They are the ones who fuel us. They are the ones who inspire our efforts: The survivors, the researchers, the caregivers. Those who have suffered greatly are the source of our unrelenting power: they are the ones who carry us over the cols, who give us the courage to fundraise, and who are at the core of what we are.

We are the Fireflies Cycling Club. With every pedal stroke, every turn of the wheel, and every heartbeat of every effort: we never ride alone.

Together, we ride the Earth’s greatest roads. Together we suffer, we laugh and we encourage. We motivate one another just as we provide hope and financial support to countless survivors, researchers and caregivers around the world.

We are a global community committed to a single cause: defeat cancer.

LoNDON CHAPTER

The Fireflies were founded in London and many of its riders remain firmly grounded in the capital and in particular the creative epicentre of Soho. We welcome riders who wish to become members of FFCC and help us in our efforts to defeat blood cancers by participating in one of our epic charity rides.

The FFCC London chapter is very active and there are rides which take across the capital. Do have a look at the weekly rides section below to find a ride near you. Whilst organised rides are naturally focused around the weekends there are often informal rides taking place too. The Fireflies Cycling Club is active on Facebook/ Strava/ Twitter where you can keep up tote with the latest news and ride information.

THE CITY OF ANGELS

Los Angeles is shit for riding. It's a city were the motor car is absolute king. You'd be mad to ride a bike here.

All of the above is both completely true and wildly false at the same time. The sprawling paradoxical metropolis that is LA is both a urban playground and has access to some incredibly untamed raw wilderness just minutes from downtown LA.

It's the destination city for the West Coast Fireflies tour and home to one the largest community of Fireflies in the world. And because of the amazing climate it offers year round riding.

THE CITY BY THE BAY

Surrounded by incredible terrain, no other international city compares to San Francisco for cycling. Within eyesight of downtown, mountains rise just beyond the Golden Gate, while redwood groves, National Parks, and views of the Pacific await us on almost every ride.

San Francisco is the host city for the West Coast Fireflies Tour and home to a vibrant community of Fireflies. With a climate that supports year round riding, and roads that are nothing short of inspiring, San Francisco and The Bay Area are a treasure for those lucky enough to call it home.

PALMA

Mallorca is known to cyclists and professional cycling teams throughout the world as one of the best places to ride your bike.

Easy and short access from European cities and moderate weather in winter, spring and autumn with up to 300 sunny days per year make Mallorca very popular for riders who like to enjoy the warm weather and excellent roads and fantastic scenery.

Mallorca offers a cycling infrastructure with professional bike rentals, great roads and affordable accommodation all over the island.

It would be great to ride with you up to cap Formentor and the hairpins of Sa Calobra - probably the perfect climb.
